"We absolutely loved the place, its features, pool, rooms and kitchen it’s very well furnished with everything needed to make you stay pleasant! Nothing to complain really about, everything was great, maybe it could be useful to advice the guests that some people (cleaning lady or swimming pool boy) will come in during the morning so that you know, giving a timeframe. (If it was written somewhere and I didn’t read it, it’s completely my bad!) For the rest it’s really the perfect peaceful stay and we would love to go back already!"

"Beautiful little apartment in the city center, all the comforts are there, lovely design and there’s a little shop where you enter the apartment which is really cute and provides amazing artesanias. Our host was also very helpful in suggesting services and give us names for transportation. Would absolutely recommend and go back!"

"We loved our stay. The house was incredible and super relaxing to spend time in it. It was perfectly located near the beach and town. Sylvia was great too and so obliging. I would recommend softer/ newer bath towels to shower with. And a kettle or deep small pot to boil Water for tea. Overall we loved our holiday in PE. Thank you"

"I had the most unforgettable experience staying at Casa de Mayo in Mazunte, Oaxaca, for my 30th birthday. I celebrated with ten close friends, and it was pure perfection from start to finish. The house is right on the beach and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The architecture blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating the perfect atmosphere for laughter, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. We spent our days lounging by the pool, enjoying mezcalitas, and savoring the delicious meals prepared by the amazing staff. The accommodations were top-notch, with incredibly comfortable beds and beautifully designed spaces. Every morning, the house was spotless, and the meals were fresh and delicious. A huge shoutout to our concierge, Jules, who helped with planning and was always available via WhatsApp. Her dependable support made the trip even more enjoyable. We truly never wanted to leave and will definitely return in the future. Highly recommend Casa de Mayo for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!"

"We enjoyed the house very much. It is extremely spacious, and the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality. Anyone choosing this style of Brutalist architecture will already know how different it feels from a conventional home. It seemed as if the architect, was exploring every Brutalist idea and clearly enjoying himself. The result is playful and slightly crazy. The house would easily accommodate four people. As two, we had more space than we needed, and it often felt like having our own small hotel. If future guests should know anything, it is the location. It is a little far from the centre, and walking is not ideal, as pavements are uneven and some streets are dark. The back streets of Merida are not dangerous, but they can feel a little unsettling at first. Our only other criticism is that the two main bedrooms have small double beds. They are comfortable but not hotel-sized. The water pressure is weak, and hot showers were difficult, though the heat outside made this less important. We had a small flood in the kitchen, but the host resolved it quickly, and the house was cleaned during our stay."

"We loved the design, privacy and the managing team, Alejandra was so nice and responsive to all our request. We particularly liked the heated pool and the fully equipped kitchen. A few small details to improve: dishwasher soap, one extra water container (especially for stays of 4+ days) and install waste disposal in kitchen sink (it cloaks)."

"The architecture and scenery of the home is absolutely stunning and very serene. You really live with the elements which we loved! Despite the blinds with mosquito nets we still got quite some insects inside the bed and bathrooms - but that’s to be expected considering the climate. I would have preferred to have some enclosed storage room in kitchen and bedrooms to store food and clothing storage safely. In order to move around more easily though the area it would be nice to have bikes available (as some other properties offer). But overall we loved our stay, so muchas gracias!"

"The property was beautiful and spacious, with a lot amenities to make the stay comfortable. The host was easily reachable and helpful. It’s great for a short-term stay of 2 or 3 days. For a longer stay, it can be tricky as the preserved antique doors easily let mosquitoes through or ants, also the fans in the rooms are a bit noisy. In the humid climate and for the price I would have also preferred bedding from breathable natural materials."

"Hi! We have had an amazing stay! The view is breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. Due to the greenery you could barley see neighbours. Close by are some of the best restaurants which is ideal. The only disadvantage is the road to the villa, as it is very bumpy."
