A testament to architectural ingenuity, this award-winning 4-bedroom, 8-guest retreat was conceived in 1993 by one of Mexico's most renowned architectural firms. Set at the foot of the mountains in Amatlán, just 1.5 hours from Mexico City, it defies the commonplace through raw elements, bold textures, and open structures that celebrate richness in simplicity.
The master suite is a pinnacle of the design — floor-to-ceiling windows draped in linen curtains frame uninterrupted mountain views and the first light of morning. Sculptural walls, hand-crafted by local artisans from the natural rock of the region, give the spaces a grounded, almost sacred quality. The pool and jacuzzi are strategically terraced into the landscape, blurring the line between architecture and nature.

Where you’ll be staying
Tepoztlán is located just 90 minutes from Mexico City, so Mexico City International Airport (MEX) is the most common option. From there, you can take private transport, Uber, or drive. There's very few Ubers in Tepoztlán, so you'll want to organize private transport for return.
