Nestled in the lush jungle of San Pancho, this three-bedroom residence is an architectural exercise in witnessing an ecosystem without interrupting it. Perched at canopy level, the house lets you cohabit with the movements and sounds of tropical birds while floating above the natural flows of the site.

The villa's defining feature is a majestic Papelillo tree that pierces through the dining area, serving as the living heart of the home. The "floating" design responds to the terrain's natural slope: social areas elevate you into the trees, while the rear circulation path keeps you connected to the jungle floor — roots, rocks, and cool shade.

Three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms are finished in regional woods and earth-toned materials that reflect the landscape outside. An expansive open-air living area flows into an outdoor dining courtyard, a professional grill station, and an infinity pool overlooking the canopy. From every corner, the jungle is your backdrop — and during whale season, the Pacific peeks through the fig trees from the contemplation courtyard.
