Casa Zapotec is a three-story art deco home from the 1930s owned by a furniture designer and created to serve as his home away from home in Mexico City. Drawing inspiration from the Zapotec culture, the space is filled with vibrant colors, striking shapes, limestone structures, and tropical hardwood furniture. It's a place ideal for entertaining or getting away from the city buzz, whether enjoying the stylish interiors or relaxing on one of the green-filled terraces.
The 4 bedroom house features a rotating display of photographs and art objects by Mexican artists, alongside the host’s design creations and items from his personal vintage collection. But it's not just about looks—the kitchen boasts a professional stove and various small appliances. Bedrooms are furnished with top-quality mattresses and Portuguese cotton percale linens, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the house provides fast wifi and a Sonos speaker system.
Spanning three floors, there's ample space for gatherings and private moments!
Please note only the Master Suite on the second floor has AC (very rare for CDMX). This is the only bedroom that requires it as all other bedrooms are naturally climatized thanks to the construction style.
