Along the coastline of Oaxaca, where surf, whale watching, and pods of dolphins define the rhythm of daily life, you will find Casa Maya, perched just above ocean level. Surrounded by mangroves and indigenous coastal landscape, the house blends seamlessly into its natural setting.
Designed by Will Meyer, co-founder of Meyer Davis, Casa Maya features a double-height palapa that forms the heart of the home, connecting the open living area, dining room, and bar to the guest rooms and primary suites. Each room offers stunning ocean views and a private ensuite bathroom.
All interiors are carefully curated to honor Oaxacan and Mexican artisans, featuring handcrafted details and locally sourced materials throughout. Custom-made breeze blocks allow for natural ventilation and a cooling ocean breeze.
The volcanic stone dining table, custom-designed for the space, seats up to 14 guests and is perfect for shared meals overlooking the Pacific. Outdoor areas include a private infinity pool and a private walkway leading directly to the beach in front of the house.
Casa Maya comes with a talented chef, Gustavo, and a trusted housekeeping team who ensure every stay is effortless and warm.
This home is deeply personal to us, and we look forward to sharing this special place where nature, design, and Oaxacan spirit meet.
