Our house is an oasis in Oaxaca. It features pale terrazzo floors, lots of light and a wall of windows in the living/dining space that looks out onto the garden. It has 3 bedrooms in the main house as well as an office with a comfy daybed and a separate casita.

It's newly renovated by a professional designer. There's a real chef's kitchen. It's filled with art, custom designed furniture and vintage finds. Outside there’s an edible garden, shaded dining area and a comfy hammock.

The space

The house is approximately 2,000 square feet on two levels.

The bedrooms feature down pillows, high thread count organic cotton sheets, organic mattresses and black out blinds. It has a brand new chefs kitchen with local marble counters, a smeg gas oven and cooktop and a dishwasher. The house also features 3.5 renovated bathrooms with rainfall shower heads and a house wide triple water filtration system. We also have drinking water on tap, a rarity in Oaxaca.

There’s cactus garden in the front and out the back there is a herb/edible garden with shaded outdoor dining area that seats 8 and cozy hammock as well as handmade solid cedar benches that are a great spot for a morning coffee. Fast wifi throughout the house. 

The house also comes with a wonderful housekeeper who comes 3x a week. She does all the laundry (including personal items), she can also cook for you if required. Our place is walking distance to downtown and 5 min from a fantastic 7 day a week farmers market!

Finally, the house also features secure off-street parking for 2 cars if required
