Brutalist Home in Mountains Outside CDMX

Casa Alferez is located on the outskirts of CDMX near the mountain town of La Marquesa (40 minutes to 1 hour from Roma Norte).  The house is carefully designed to fulfill a comfortable getaway in the woods with a minimalistic approach to luxury. Wallpaper Magazine described it as a "A fortress-like holiday home by Ludwig Godefroy, hides and protects impossibly lofty interiors."

The home

The cabin offers a luxurious retreat with a Master bedroom featuring a plush King-size bed, a second bedroom with 2 Twin Beds, and an extra sleeping space (an open studio) thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably.

One of the highlights of Casa Alferez is the unique conversation pit, designed to enhance your relaxation and connection with the natural surroundings.

A striking triple-height living area dominates the interior, creating an atmosphere of openness and internal transparency.  As you explore the cabin's five offset levels, you'll discover distinctive living areas, including a well-appointed kitchen the two thoughtfully designed bedrooms, a studio, and a kitchen with dining room.

Guest access

Your stay includes complimentary firewood and a Welcome Kit. Enjoy seamless connectivity with Wifi, and make use of a dedicated workspace for convenience. Unwind with entertainment on the TV, and rest assured with free parking.

Feel free to bring your favorite food and beverages. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the essentials: utensils, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, along with oil, salt, pepper, and condiments. You'll find a fridge, oven, stove, and a complete Coffee Kit, including a grinder, machine, and scale.

Step outside to the inviting outdoor dining area, complete with different-sized BBQ grills, essential tools, charcoal, an exterior cooler box, and basic camping gear such as chairs and mats. Set up a cozy spot on the grass to immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors during your stay.

Nestled in the beautiful Cañada de Alferez, there are small shops within walking distance. To enhance your experience with us, we recommend bringing everything you need before hand.

Our cabin is nestled in the heart of the woods. While we strive to provide a seamless experience, please be aware that being in a remote location may occasionally result in unexpected challenges. There is a small probability of temporary service interruptions, such as power outages or disruptions to the fiber internet, which are beyond our control.
