Casa Sonoma

Carved into the Punta Gorda hillside, Casa Sonoma is a study in bold restraint — raw concrete, weathered steel, and unadorned geometry framing a living portrait of the Sea of Cortez.

Every structure — five in total — was conceived not to dominate the land but to dissolve into it. From above, the home is barely visible. From within, it’s a sensorial epic: warm breezes flow freely through deep corridors, sunrise pours across the stone, and silence holds space between each architectural form.

Casa Sonoma fuses elemental form with functional luxury. Concrete masses are softened by curvature and flow, while shaded pergolas and strategically placed apertures invite light in and keep the Baja heat out. Interior volumes move with purpose: sunken lounges, cliffside terraces, sculpted outdoor shower — all composing a rhythmic balance of exposure and retreat.

In a region of fleeting development and fast builds, Casa Sonoma stands apart: timeless, deliberate, and powerfully still.
