Perched on a rocky promontory along Oaxaca’s Pacific coast, Casa Cometa is a seamless blend of nature, architecture, and history. Designed by Taller | Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo and brought to life with interiors by LeCoadic-Scotto, this stunning home sits at the entrance of Punta Cometa’s natural reserve, an area known for its mystical aura and breathtaking ocean views.

Inspired by the ancient Zapotec city of Monte Albán, the design features stone terraces and twin towers that echo the region’s rich heritage. 

At the heart of the house lies a grand palapa, with an open-air design and a thatched roof that invites the coastal breeze. A stunning 82-foot pool and a terracotta platform seamlessly connect the home’s main living spaces, fostering a sense of effortless indoor-outdoor living.

Casa Cometa offers four beautifully designed bedrooms, each carefully curated to enhance the home’s connection to nature. Additionally, a private music studio can be converted into a fifth bedroom, providing flexibility for guests looking for extra space.
