Casa Chavela is the incredible former home of legendary Mexican singer Chavela Vargas, set in the shadows of Tepoztlan's famed Sierra de Tepoztlan mountain range. Renovated in 2021, the home's revival was all about breathing new life into the magical space. They didn't toss away the old; instead, they lovingly preserved the original house using locally-sourced materials, artisan made furniture, and art by Mexican artists.
